Weekly Update - August 11, 2024

2oo more words this week - most of them came from 1 scene, where I went overboard and wrote more than I should have.

I aimed very low for August - about 10 to 50 words per day.

I don't know if that scene will remain, or be tossed out, but either way, I am hoping draft I should be over soon.

Finishing 1 draft will give me more feedback on where I am heading, and help me generate ideas. I generate ideas fastest by daydreaming, and writing, but however painful plotting is, I am anticipating good results by going very slow, and spending lifetimes correcting tiny, tiny plot points. SO many plot holes.

I wish my mother told me when I was a child, that I do all or nothing, all the time.

Especially when I suddenly eat all the rasam - she should have said veedu thinte oka laaga, thinakapothe rasam okalaga untundi.
