I am GIFing Davie504 so much, I'd like to pass on my appreciation by including a link to his channel.

I think a lot of memes and videos included in his commentary involve someone suffering, and there is a culture, especially in the internet, which includes having a laugh when someone is suffering.

There are several reasons I would like to link his channel here, regardless:

1. I reference his GIFs. Credit where it's due - especially on the internet. If he is a bassist, I am a writer.
2. I like some of his videos, even though I don't like suffering. I think it's good to laugh, and it's difficult for me to judge Davie when he laughs at himself first.

This website is (or is going to be) aimed at students, of varying levels of opinions and interests, some of whom won't want to study with Davie504 saying slapp like.

However, right now, I consider Davie504 to be a great artist. I think he's a better bassist than I am a writer, as I am still working on plotting the novel.

Will reconsider referencing him later, on a student by student basis.

I would rate his 'Bass Me Baby One More Time' as pg-13, and his technique displays a lot of mastery.

The original song, is as you might have guessed - Hit me baby one more time.

Sometimes, referring something is 100% needed to criticize (and then improve) so that's a burden every artist needs to adhere to.

I am already afraid of the parodies of my work.

But till then, burden me, baby, 1 more time.

When I was a small child, I would feel bad when I caught a Pokemon and the box was full, so I had to release it, wasting hours of hunting in the wild.

Beating the elite 4 took more planning for me than school - once you pass the gatekeeper, the only way out is by losing or beating the champion.

So I used to stock up on potions (these Pokemon get hurt), teach new moves and train my Pokemon.

If you win 5 duels in a row, you are declared champion - lose any 1, and you have to restart.

When I played Pokemon as an adult, I noticed that even if the box was full, the Pokemon would get transferred anyway.

This was a new convenience feature, but, not how I grew up.

Given how the world is changing (or continuing to change), I would have given his channel R+++, but in my experience it's a lot tamer than some vitriol I have seen.

I don't have a pulse on the internet, but for better or worse, this is not the world I grew up in.

I don't think he's laughing at people's suffering - I think people like to laugh.

I think some laugh with Shakespearean comedies, others with Davie504.
