Photo by Jaredd Craig / Unsplash. Wow, literature.

I go through my 'resources for writers' page, as a handy way to refresh myself.

When I was doing that this week, I noticed the link to the elements of literature took me to another page.

I found this cool paragraph in that page, I think you should read it.

That's 3 paras. Gotcha.

She's right! A 100%.

Or, as I would put it, if you can't impress your mother with your writing, the chances of impressing a publisher, let alone a Nobel laureate panel, is less than 0....

It is, in fact, -1.

Writing was slower this week, due to interviews. Here is what I have so far in terms of word count for TNOM (draft 1)

It's on the slower side. Not just from the deadline, but also from a macro perspective.

The world building is left.....To create an original world from scratch is difficult. There are probably some techniques to speed quantity, without compromising quality.

I don't know these, nor have I come across them....

Maybe writers are solo wolves and don't explain a lot, who knows?

Another good gif. So much quality on the internet with no copyright claims. Why?

The software I use, Scrivener, calculates how many words I need to write backwards from the deadline. Pretty cool right?

The session resets at 7 am, back to 0.

That's all for now.

Happy Friday!
